PROFILE
VICTOR N. VIC-VINCENT
Victor has been written about in INC., SUCCESS, U.S.A. Today, hundreds of newspapers and magazines, even talked about on radio and TV. All of these products listed above were created solely by him without a degree in marketing or business. He did not receive an inhertance and for most of his life worked lower than middle class. He even qualified for food stamps at one time in his life and on the verge of bankruptcy, almost lost everything. But he turned it all around with an entrepreneurial attitude and started creating products and businesses that fit his lifestyle and humor. A portfolio of his news and magazine stories, inventions, businesses, songs, books, entrepreneurial ventures, etc. can be read usually by just googling his name. MY BUSINESSES & VENTURES
SUNSHINE SURFBOARDS: At the age of 15 Victor created his first company making surfboards. Designing at that time the smallest board in the U.S. It was 4'6" the next closest board was 10' 6". Today he judges surfing contests.
VIC-VINCENT GAME COMPANY: On the verge of filing chapter 7 Victor had a dream about making something good out of something bad. He awoke went down to his kitchen table and with just the utensils in his home drew out BANKRUPTCY! The Boardgame and within 90 days produced this product and made it to market! The Decision Maker was made from a toy gun taken from the game and sent out to retail company buyers as a gift. Well this gift caught on and he started filling orders for companies like Spencer Gifts. The Sitcky Ticky was a toy that children stuck to thier face that looked like a tick! All sold under this company.
VIC-VINCENT ENTERTAINMENT: Created to promote and organize recording artists, performers and local bands.
VIC-VINCENT RECORD COMPANY: Wrote and produced songs with the famous "Bobby Purify". Singer of the songs; "I'm Your Puppet!" and "Shake A Tail Feather!". (Top-ten recording artist).
HOMES FOR SALE BY VIDEO: Victor was the creator of a homes for sale business using one of the first portable camcorders introduced from Japan to the U.S.. He located this business in the middle of real estate row and sold property without a license under the legal guise of advertising homes, selling for a fee and not a percentage. "Believe me it made a lot of real estate professionals mad. But you know what, they soon saw the potential to selling homes by video and started doing it themselves. As you know, we can now look and buy homes on our computers".
AMERICAN VIDEO PRODUCTIONS: Rented and created video productions for the public. Was also one of the first to video-graph children for safety. Spun off from "Homes For sale by Video".
COMPUTER DESIGN SWIMWEAR: "This was one of the most innovative companies I worked with. I combined a 1 hour custom swimsuit business with 2 other fashion/salons. A woman could come in and get her custom swimsuit fitted by standing in front of a camera which would take a picture, send it to a computer and formulate her measurements almost perfectly. Then she could pick from many different fabrics from lycra to leather. Pick her style Brazilian cut, French cut, etc.. The seamstress would then take the measurements and in 1 hour have a bathing suit that fit within 1/100th of an inch. While she waited on the seamstress, the customer could get a tan and a manicure."
SOLAR POWER CORPORATION: A corporation formed to sell energy efficiency vehicles where I was involved in marketing and sales. I sold one of the first solar/electric cars in the U.S..
ACCESS INTERNATIONAL: Co-created an international sales company selling a variety of products nationally and internationally.
WORLDWIDE WHEELS: Sales & Marketing Representative for the Terminator and fold up bicycles. The terminator bicycle was a kids bike with the theme from the Arnold Swartzenegar movie “The Terminator”. "Not only did the bike have a menacing look, it also had a voice recorded message system using Arnold's voice that when pushed would say; "Asta La Vista Baby!"
ALIEN FACE MASKS: The creator was on Unsolved Mysteries. "I marketed these masks and negotiated the sale of the rights to these masks to an outside buyer. After the deal was finalized; I was given a gold watch with a U F O emblem embedded in the watch face."
MOON BRITCHES: Marketing & Sales associate for the famous Moon Britches. “MOON BRITCHES” were originally created by Richard Cottrell, an entrepreneur who had great expectations for this line of clothing. (Created from an inspirational thought while cruising in his power boat). "Richard is an avid water goer who from time to time came across other faster boats whose team on occasion would speed by MOONing his crew. As always, by the time they noticed the mocking sailors, it was too late to return the asinine (a little play on words) act. So he created a pair of shorts that could be unzipped in a short amount of time and facilitate the same showmanship. Well, word spread in the boating community and everyone wanted a pair of “Moon Britches.” Richard asked me for some help. So, I lent my creativeness to the concept and used a pair of cut-offs that had lycra sewn into them to print advertisements, and this increased sales. You could have seen one of the several slogans featured during a promotional affair I was asked to participate in: “The Florida Bid For Bachelors,” sponsored by the “American Cancer Society.” where I amused the audience wearing the “Moon Britches” with the inscription on the back “Bid on me! Call: 476-7673”. Other slogans: “Rent This Space,” “This Space For Lease” and more additional slogans were used for commercial advertising with larger firms. The possibilities are endless, and the advertising space increases with your waist size." (LOL).
TRADER JON’S NIGHTCLUB: Marketing Manager for The Worlds Famous Trader Jon’s Nightclub, trademarked the name Trader Jon’s and helped to establish The Blue Angels Museum. While marketing and promoting the night club and Trader Jon; I set up large events with the Treasure Bay Casino, The Grand Casino Biloxi, Mississippi, The U.S. Navy’s world famous Blue Angels, The Pirates Treasure Yacht Race (a 3 day event), several Non-Profit Organizations, Bikini Contests, and promotions with the many liquor and wine distributors throughout the south. Trader Jon’s nightclub has been talked about on many radio shows and featured or talked about in many T.V. shows and movies. The most notable and recent; “FAITH OF MY FATHERS” Based on Senator John McCain.
